Zbigniew Konojacki has announced the new stable release of 4MLinux 29.0.
4MLinux is a small, independent, general-purpose Linux distribution with a strong focus on the following four “M” of computing.
- Maintenance (system rescue Live CD),
- Multimedia (full support for a huge number of image, audio and video formats),
- Miniserver (DNS, FTP, HTTP, MySQL, NFS, Proxy, SMTP, SSH, and Telnet),
- Mystery (meaning a collection of classic Linux games).
What’s New in 4MLinux 29.0?
Added a new desktop sub-menu called “Office” (with AbiWord, Gnumeric, LazPaint).
Spellcheck functionality added to Sylpheed and HexChat.
Improved LibreOffice installation script.
Better support for MINIX file system (via util-linux and GParted).
Lots of improvements have added on Quake2 3D acceleration.
4MServer now includes PHP 7.3 with NaCl cryptography support.
4MLinux desktop comes with 32-bit JWM and 4MLinux servers comes with 64-bit complete LAMP stack.
