Deepin 15.11 Released with Could Sync and Many Other Improvements

Deepin 15.11 stable version is released on 19 July, 2019. It brings Cloud Sync in Control Center, disc burning function in Deepin File Manager and much more.

Deepin is a Debian-based beautiful desktop-oriented distribution featuring the custom desktop called Deepin and deepin native applications.

Deepin has their own followers and lovers. I’m one of them. I really love this distro, especially Deepin Desktop Environment (DDE).

It preinstalls Deepin Desktop Environment (DDE) and nearly 30 deepin native applications, as well as several applications from the open source community to fulfill user expectations.

There are thousand applications are offered in Deepin Store, which users can install on demand.

There are lot of fixes applied to Kwin (KDE Window Manager) and optimized for better stability and compatibility.

Refer the following link for Deepin operating system installation steps.

Also, deepin unstable version is officially not supported since deepin 15.11. If anyone use unstable, they are advising them to re install the system with stable version asap.

You can verify this by running the following command.

# grep panda /etc/apt/sources.list

If “panda” is shown in the output, you are using unstable version and you are advise to re install with stable version. If there is no output, you are using stable version and no need to worry about it.
