MintBox 3 Basic and MintBox 3 Pro PCs are now available for purchase, which was announced back in July.
It is based on Airtrap 3 but has been customized to provide users with the best desktop Linux experience.
It ships with the latest Linux Mint 19.3 “Tricia” Cinnamon pre-installed.
Compulab offers a 5 year warranty for MintBox 3 and 5% of every MintBox3 sold is donated to Linux Mint.
The MintBox3 is currently available for $1399 and $2499 depending on the specification.
Some of the units have already been shipped to some Linux mint developers. And, they plan to do the same for other developers in the future.
They offer two models – MintBox 3 Basic and MintBox 3 Pro.
MintBox3 Pro model is powered by an 8-core Intel® Core™ i9-9900K Processor and Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti whereas MitBox3 Basic comes with 6-core Intel® Core™ i5-9500 Processor.
Both passively cooled using Compulab’s Natural Airflow technology.
It’s compact, silent, and good looking though, it’s the most powerful computer.
MintBox3 has an unusually rich set of features for a mini desktop – including up to 128 GB RAM, 6 storage devices, up to 7 4K displays, dual LAN, Wi-Fi, 9 USB ports, audio jacks on front and back and serial ports.
Also, they are creating a mid-range model of MintBox3. We will soon see some news on this.
