Security-Oriented Alpine Linux 3.10.0 has been released and check what’s new


Alpine Linux community proudly announced the new release of Alpine Linux 3.10.0 on 19 June, 2019.

It’s a first stable release of v3.10 series.

Alpine Linux is a security-oriented, lightweight Linux distribution based on musl libc and busybox.

New Features in Alpine Linux 3.10.0?

Added iwd (iNet wireless daemon), a modern alternative for wpa_supplicant through Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) but EAP is not working yet.

Added Serial and ethernet support for arm boards.

Added lightdm, a cross-desktop display manager.

ceph, a distributed object store and filesystem.
